  • Air Force Academy: Applicants should hold a degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or they must possess a Bachelor of Engineering.

Age Limit Criteria

Age limits vary based on the course and academy:

  • IMA: Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd July 2002 and 1st July 2007.
  • INA: Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd July 2002 and 1st July 2007.
  • Air Force Academy: Candidates aged 20 to 24 years as of 1st July 2026, i.e., born between 2nd July 2002 and 1st July 2006. Those holding a valid Commercial Pilot Licence from DGCA (India) can apply until the age of 26.
  • OTA (Men): Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2007.
  • OTA (Women): Unmarried women, widows without remarriage, and divorcees without remarriage and without children, born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2007.

Important Note: Candidates below the age of 25 must remain unmarried throughout the training. Even if married candidates above 25 apply, they will not receive marital accommodation during training and are not allowed to live off-campus with family.

Salary and Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be entitled to a Level 10 pay scale, which ranges from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month, along with other admissible allowances such as DA, HRA, transport allowances, and risk/hardship perks depending on the posting.
