Eligibility Criteria for CISF Constable/Tradesman 2025
Educational Qualification
For Skilled Trades: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or its equivalent from a recognized board before the application deadline. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI). This applies to the following trades: Barber, Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washer Man, Welder, Electrician, and Motor Pump Attendant.
For Unskilled Trades: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or its equivalent from a recognized board before the application deadline. This applies to the Sweeper trade. If the educational certificate is issued by an institution other than a State/Central Board, it must be accompanied by a Government of India notification declaring its equivalency to the 10th standard qualification.
Age Limit (As on 01.08.2025)
Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years old, meaning they should have been born between August 2, 2002, and August 1, 2007.
