Amazon’s MyHR Live Support team is an integral part of the company, offering HR Contact Center support to employees worldwide. With multilingual services available 24/7 in select countries, the HR support team is essential for delivering exceptional assistance and ensuring smooth operations. As a MyHR Live Support Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service while supporting Amazon employees globally.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle High-Volume Contacts: Efficiently manage a large number of live interactions, primarily through phone calls, and sometimes chat, while demonstrating problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Ensure each employee inquiry is resolved swiftly, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and Amazon’s core values.
- Holistic Issue Resolution: Resolve employee issues by referencing resources such as FAQs, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures. If the solution cannot be found, escalate the issue appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Build Trust and Personalize Interactions: Establish trust with employees through empathetic communication. Customize resolutions to meet the specific needs of each employee, ensuring that every conversation is meaningful and solution-oriented.
- Timely Response to Urgent Issues: Address urgent employee concerns promptly, ensuring the right documentation and communication are maintained, even when limited information is available.
- Critical Thinking and Judgment: Leverage strong critical thinking skills to balance process adherence with employee needs. Make decisions in real-time to resolve requests while prioritizing the most efficient outcome for the employee and Amazon.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams to stay updated on process changes and continuously improve HR policies. Work closely with teams to resolve any employee issues related to HR operations, ensuring process improvements and issue resolution.
- Performance Metrics: Maintain excellence in key performance indicators such as contact handling time, first-contact resolution, and customer satisfaction scores. Ensure consistent high performance while adhering to set goals.
- Adhere to Scheduling and Shift Flexibility: Follow a set schedule, including breaks and lunches, to support a 24/7 contact center. Demonstrate flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts to accommodate a global workforce across multiple time zones.
This role requires multitasking, the ability to thrive under pressure, strong verbal and written communication, and a commitment to delivering top-notch HR customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree required.

- Availability to support 24×7 operations with flexible scheduling.
- Internet connection with speeds ranging from 50-100 Mbps prior to joining.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a contact center, customer service, or HR-related role.
- Familiarity with US Leave of Absence and Accommodation laws.
- Knowledge of US federal and state leave and disability laws.
- Experience in offering consultation and support for human resources, benefits, or employee matters.
- Demonstrated experience handling customer interactions with exceptional empathy and professionalism.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing workloads and manage contacts in a fast-paced environment.
- Data privacy awareness and the ability to handle confidential employee information.
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to analyze and problem-solve while managing multiple priorities.
