We are seeking a motivated Procurement Specialist to support experienced Sourcing Specialists in managing procurement activities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationships. The position involves handling tactical purchasing, ensuring smooth procurement operations, and maintaining compliance with global sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Sourcing & Procurement Support:
- Assist in executing sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Help organize Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines.
- Support the procurement of local purchases within a defined scope.
✅ Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop basic knowledge of key stakeholders within the procurement ecosystem.
- Manage relationships with tactical providers and assist in supplier performance analysis.
- Maintain communication with clients and suppliers on procurement-related matters.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
✅ Procurement Process & Compliance:
- Ensure contract alignment with quotes and purchase requisitions during the validation process.
- Support procurement service delivery and compliance within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
- Assist in maintaining procurement records and supplier databases.
- Contribute to the development and compliance of category sourcing strategies.
✅ Cost Management & Optimization:
- Participate in cost analysis and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide local insights to contribute to global category strategies.
- Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and business goals.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic understanding of procurement, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and P2P processes is a plus.
