Candidates should have worked in areas such as Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection, or Engineering of electrical systems in power plants or projects of capacity 200 MW or above, fueled by coal, gas, or lignite.

2. Deputy Manager (Mechanical):

  • Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Experience: Similar to the Electrical post, 10 years of relevant experience in the power sector is mandatory. Roles involving the mechanical aspects of power plant operations or projects (of 200 MW capacity or higher) are considered.

3. Deputy Manager (C&I):

  • Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering, with at least 60% marks.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the field is essential, focusing on C&I operations within a power project or plant of minimum 200 MW capacity.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for all Deputy Manager posts is 40 years as on June 9, 2025. However, NTPC follows the government-mandated age relaxation policies:

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD):
    • General/EWS: 10 years
    • OBC: 13 years
    • SC/ST: 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines

Pay Scale:

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000, depending on their experience and qualifications.
