Eligibility Criteria for VSSC ISRO JRF 2025

Applicants must have any of the following qualifications: (a) M.Sc. Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Space Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or Planetary Sciences with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.84 or above on a 10-point scale.
OR
(b) M.S/M.E/M.Tech in Atmospheric Science, Space Science, Planetary Science, Applied Physics, or Engineering Physics with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.5 or above on a 10-point scale.
Additionally, candidates must have qualified in at least one of the following:
- CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), including NET-Lectureship.
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD.
- Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST).
Age Limit (As on 02.04.2025)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum 28 years
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit
- SC/ST Applicants: Up to 33 years
- OBC Applicants: Up to 31 years
- PwBD Applicants: As per Government policy
